IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The 2008 Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA will take place from July 8- 27. We welcome applicants from all over the globe who are at least 21 years old as of July 2008. Performance applicants, please note that you do not have to play an instrument included on our faculty to attend the program.
Application fee—A $35 USD non-refundable application fee can be paid online via credit card, or by check. More information can be found after you create an account.
Application deadline—Online Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, January 15, 2007, 5pm.
All applicants will be notified of the decisions in mid-February. The tuition fee for the 2008 Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival of is one thousand four hundred and seventy-five dollars ($1,475 USD). A non-refundable deposit of $400 is due in late February upon notification of acceptance. Payment in full is due by May 1, 2008.
Room and Board (included in tuition)—Accommodations for the Festival are provided by Bang on a Can and MASS MoCA at the local college (Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts), which is within walking distance to the museum. Accommodations are dormitory-style with two people to a room.
Lunch and dinner are provided Mon-Fri at the museum. Fellows are responsible for weekend meals. There are several local inexpensive eateries near the museum.
All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from MASS MoCA. Information about transportation will be provided upon acceptance to the festival.
